Benoni Commercial Center is a mixed-use urban development located in Benoni, Papar. This complex occupies a vast piece of prime real estate that is located close to Benoni’s two primary thoroughfares, namely the Papar Spur Road and the Pan Borneo Highway. Its strategic location near a highway junction roundabout that connects roads to Sarawak, Brunei, and Sabah – would perhaps leave one to imagine the long-term economic potential this center brings.
A fond recollection of childhood weekend getaways. When we were kids, Dad would routinely load us up in the car(or his van) and drive us on day trips to nearby towns like Kinarut, Papar, Bongawan, etc, or picnics at beaches like Pantai Manis, Melinsung, Meruntum all the way to Tanjung Aru. Mostly locations that are in close proximity to where we lived. Love those short trips! We (I’d make sure I get squeezed in every time ha ha) would squeeze ourselves in to fit in the car, frequently traveled in a southwesterly direction, and on these outings, we would always end up at kedai makan dan kopi (now we see chain outlets like KFC, Pizza Hut, McD, Burger King, and many more) for either breakfast or early lunch. And yes, buy stuff at wet markets too. Those were the days …
