Typing through time

Many interesting items to see in this little shop.  Our 11 year old son gazed in awe at the typewriters that sat at a corner. We explained that this thing was sort of outnumbered by computers with word processing applications by a wide margin in the 80s – who knows what the big boy was thinking upon hearing this! He asks two days ago if we could get one for him to try his hands on.

 I haven’t seen anyone using this in decades, have you?  Definitely  rare (or already a non-existent thingy ?)
